TDC Glass manufactures double- and triple-pane insulating glass units (IGUs) filled with argon for manufacturers of PVC, aluminum, and wood joinery, as well as facade contractors and curtain wall installers. Factory delivery, certified to SR EN 1279.

The production of thermal insulation glass—commonly known as double-pane glass—and high-performance insulating glass units has been at the core of TDC Glass’s business since 1999. In 2019, the acquisition of Lustic Invest SA in Cristian, Brașov County, significantly increased production capacity. Today, the Bystronic line produces up to 400 units per shift, glass units up to 60 mm thick, including atypical shapes, in accordance with
SR EN 1279-1-6.
Our products
Double-pane insulated glass (2 panes)
The standard configuration for windows, doors, and facades. Two panes separated by a spacer filled with argon gas. The panes can be made of tempered glass, laminated glass, Low-E glass, or solar control glass, depending on the project specifications.
Approximate U-value with Low-E coating and argon: 1.1–1.0 W/m²K.
Applications: PVC and aluminum windows and doors, standard and semi-structural curtain walls, skylights, interior and exterior glazing.
Triple-pane insulated glass (3 panes)
A high-performance configuration for passive buildings and green-certified projects. Two independent argon-filled chambers. The panes can be made of tempered glass, laminated glass, Low-E glass, or solar control glass, depending on the project’s energy requirements.
Approximate U-value with Low-E coating and argon: below 0.52 W/m²K.
Applications: structural curtain walls, NZEB or LEED facades, premium windows and doors, hotels.

Frequently Asked Questions
What U-value can I achieve for the insulated glass unit?
It depends on the IGU configuration. A double-pane unit with Low-E and argon typically achieves 1.0–1.3 W/m²K, and a triple-pane unit with Low-E and argon can go below 0.8 W/m²K. We specify the exact Ug value in the technical data sheet of the offer.
Do you also manufacture panels with safety or laminated glass?
Yes. We can include safety glass (EN 12150) or laminated glass (EN 14449) in the insulated glass unit, depending on the project requirements.
Do you accept orders with mixed dimensions and specifications, including non-standard shapes?
Yes. We do not impose minimum order quantities and manufacture each panel to the exact dimensions specified in the cutting list, including round, semicircular, and polygonal shapes.
Do you provide documentation for the construction file?
Yes. We provide declarations of conformity and product certificates in accordance with SR EN 1279 for each batch.
